New course for the academic year 2024/2025 undergoing initial accreditation by the MUR - Ministry of University and Research.

Il Master's Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics grows up six years with 360 CFU and over 5000 hours of theoretical and practical teaching. Students learn the fundamentals of medicine and dentistry in the first two years, while in the following three years they focus on dental medical and surgical disciplines. The sixth year includes didactic activity, almost exclusively professionalising, aimed at treating patients with odontostomatological problems, with specific training relating to the approach and interdisciplinary discussion of clinical cases.

Clinical internships integrate theoretical learning and the teaching method is interactive and multidisciplinary, with a problem-oriented learn approaching e clinical involvement of students. Students are at the center of the training process, with attention to clinical practice and autonomy of initiative. Elective teaching activities allow the personalization of the curriculum.

The professional figure is that ofDentist, professional qualified to treat congenital or acquired diseases of the teeth, mouth, jaw bones, temporomandibular joints and related tissues, in order to restore and maintain the physiological functions of the odontostomatological district.


The dentist, after registration in the professional register, will be able to practice the profession both in a freelance setting and as an employee in local clinics, in public health facilities, accredited with the National Health Service, or in private ones. The dentist can also find employment in the research sector in the clinical, biomechanical, commodity and academic fields.
