The next September 19th the symposium will be held Food Design for Food Science and Technology, organized byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. The initiative aims to investigate the Food Design, the new methodology created to conceive and create healthy and sustainable food products and shed new light on Italian agri-food production. 

Food Design makes use of a transdisciplinary approach where different knowledge and disciplines (e.g. food technologies, nutrition, design) meet and compare for a new story of Made in Italy, which keeps our cultural food roots strong. It is the design of «new food acts» that is, everything that has to do with the conception, preparation, creation, production and communication of food.
