On the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Romain collaboration with the association Let's Discover Autism, organizes the informative seminar "Quality of care in autism spectrum disorder: current challenges and future prospects". The event will be held Wednesday 2 April 2025 at the university.
The seminar was born from the need to address a crucial issue, also highlighted by a recent article in the New England Journal of Medicine: the complexity of autism spectrum disorder and its still insufficient knowledge by the medical profession. This gap translates into a quality of care that is not always optimal for people on the spectrum.
L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, always attentive to issues of inclusion and social sensitivity, recognizes the importance of this event as a precious opportunity to to raise awareness, raising awareness among academics and future generations of medical specialists about the complexity and specificities of autism spectrum disorder.
