At the opening of Plastic Free July, an initiative born in 2011 with the aim of raising consumer awareness towards sustainable and responsible practices regarding the use of plastic materials, theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC) present the seminar Towards a circular economy of plastics.
The event, introduced by ISPRA, will see the succession of academic interventions proposed by researchers from our University, in collaboration with ENEA, And Sapienza University of Rome, which will be accompanied by the vision of industrial sector, represented by the major players on the national and international scene.
Each speaker will then put their vision on the table, discussing its benefits and limitations, to outline together a technological transition path assisted by the close collaboration between academia and industry.
