"Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species in Plants: From Model Systems to Field Experimentation"
Sponsored by EXPO 2015, the XII international conference will see the participation of 200 researchers from all over the world.
During the two days of the conference, organized byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and from the University of Verona at the Gran Guardia of Verona, the researchers present will discuss some of the most pressing problems in agriculture, such as the identification of plants of agri-food interest capable of better resisting climate change and the attack of pathogens, or the improvement of the nutritional and health value of food plants. The conference will also discuss plant resistance to pathogens, one of the main causes of loss of productivity in agriculture and a danger to the wholesomeness of our foods, just think of the many emergencies of recent years: Xylella for the olive tree, bacterial of kiwi, just to name a few.
