From September 30 to October 2, 2025 l'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma will host the international conference “4th International One Health Conference 2025 - Integral Ecology as a light to foster the One-Health approach”, founded on theIntegral Ecology and onHuman Ecology to underline theinterconnection between human, animal and environmental health.
Integral Ecology, a concept of the encyclical “Laudato Si' ” by Pope Francis, promotes a holistic approach to the environment, recognizing the complex web of relationships between all life forms and the ecosystems they inhabit. This perspective aligns with the framework of One Health, which seeks to address the health issues through a collaborative and multi-sectoral approach, acknowledging that Human health is deeply intertwined with animal and environmental health.
The conference will be divided into 5 areas in which to propose scientific works, research, articles and studies, and it is open to all cultural fields (veterinarians, pharmacists, biologists, doctors, chemists, physicists, sociologists, economists, etc.) who can contribute to the rationale of the conference itself.
The results of the Conference will be presented at COP30, the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held in Belém, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025.
