The next November 13, L 'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma will host the seminar entitled “Lost in perfection? Care, relationships and lifestyles between ideal and performance”, promoted by Consulting Committee Philosophy and Science UCBM.
In an era marked by competition and speed, the pursuit of “perfection” is no longer an abstract ideal but a goal of personal optimization. The initiative therefore represents an opportunity to reflect on our vision of perfection and on the social and cultural changes that are redefining human bonds and the meaning of well-being.
The debate will be led by Prof. Andrea Maccarini, expert in sociology at the University of Padua. The seminar will open with a report by Prof. Vera King of the University of Frankfurt, which will be followed by interventions by academics from various disciplines who will contribute to the framing of the topic from different perspectives.
Participation in the initiative provides recognition to all students of ECTS.
