Involved 80 universities and over 200 participants

October 5, 2021 - It took place in Rome, from 30 September to 2 October 2021, the XVIII Annual meeting of the CODAU, Coordination of the General Managers of the Italian university administrations. Among the participants, the Director General ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Andrea Rossi, representative of non-state universities in the Giunta Codau. At the center of the debate, the conditions and role of the university system in favor of the country's recovery after the pandemic.

For university managers the National recovery and resilience plan (PNRR) represents an extraordinary investment opportunity in human capital, training, research and the third mission, aimed at building a strong link between universities and the economic world. In this context, managers are ready to effectively and efficiently exploit the tools and resources made available to ensure sustainable and lasting results.

Even in UCBM we guarantee the resumption of all institutional activities in presence and in safety thanks to the innovation of our organizational models and by applying the new rules for access to the structure. Only by strengthening its skills, operational tools and structures can Italian universities promote transformation under the banner of innovation". 

The CODAU, in fact, recalls the need to give value to domestic investments planned until 2026 and underlines the need for devote attention and resources to improving infrastructure of the Athenaeums, at the process digitization and the integration of information systems, but also al numerical and qualitative enhancement of the technical-administrative staff with the focus on new skills and increasingly on soft skills.
