The spin-off UCBM selected among the three projects 'accelerated' by Marzotto Venture Accelerator

October 26, 2021 - The acceleration phase of the three most innovative projects that participated in the Covid-19 Challenge, the call for ideas promoted by Marzotto Venture Accelerator e Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in the most critical phase of the pandemic, precisely with the aim of supporting ideas with high technological content in the health, economic and social fields to help tackle the emergency and global challenges. Marzotto Venture Accelerator, an open innovation and technology transfer hub that contributed within the Covid 19-challenge to identifying and supporting the most innovative ideas, selecting 15 out of a total of over 500 projects presented, has completed the process acceleration of three projects. Among these it is present Brain Innovations, innovative start-up, spin-off ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, which aims to develop devices in the field of telemedicine for telediagnosis, telemonitoring and personalized home therapy of neurological pathologies. To found it Lazzaro Di Biase, neurologist at the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital, who was recently elected coordinator of the study group on telemedicine of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.

The challenge, which also saw the participation of large companies such as Enel, Cisco, FS Technology, Invitalia, Tim and Unicredit, has contributed to creating a vast and inclusive ecosystem of open innovation, capable of enhancing the respective skills, organizational structures, networks formal and informal collaboration.
