A "pilgrimage 2.0" told through video clips on the University's social channels

Five courageous students, a guide, a minibus and a filming and video editing team: these are the ingredients of "Beato Lui!", a pilgrimage 2.0, latest generation format.

For six days, the group will travel across Europe to discover the places and people who have played a fundamental role in the life of Msgr. Álvaro del Portillo, inspirer of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. Leaving from Rome on 22 September, the bus will pass through Genoa, Montpellier, San Sebastián and Burgos, until it reaches Madrid on 27 September, where the Beatification Mass will be held at 12.00, presided over by card. Angelo Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.

Each stage of this journey will bring the participants closer to the figure of don Álvaro, which they will discover step by step in his homeland. By getting to know him, they will have the opportunity to reflect and meditate on his human and spiritual journey, thus being able to experience the celebration of such a significant rite with greater awareness.

The novelty that characterizes this "pilgrimage 2.0" is that it will also be possible to follow it from home, using smartphones, tablets and computers. The adventure-journey of the five "special envoys" of theUCBM in fact, it will be told in real time on the University's social channels (Youtube, Facebook and Twitter) through daily video clips in which the students will share this life experience with the online public.
