15 March, 2022 - The initiatives promoted by theUniversità Campus Bio-medico di Roma to concretely support the Ukrainian people, affected by the conflict. By the will of students, volunteers and chaplaincy leaders, part one collection of food, basic necessities and medicines to be allocated to war displaced persons. 

From 15 23 to March will be present, atPrabb entrance, a collection desk run by volunteers who will sort the materials and prepare the parcels to be sent to Ukraine.

For those who want to buy more expensive items (sphygmomanometers, glucometers, etc), please bring them to the end of the collection on Wednesdays 23 March, 2022 from 12.00am to 13.30pm or from 18.00 at 20.00.

What is needed:

  • foodstuffs (canned food such as meat and fish, coffee, tea, UHT milk, juices, dried fruit and shelled nuts, biscuits and snacks, long-life bread and rolls, baby food); 
  • medicine (patches, gauze, betadine cutaneous solution, elastic bandages, disposable and non-sterile sterile gloves, disposable masks, antibiotics of all generations, pediatric medicines: ibuprofen syrup, paracetamol syrup, fans, rhinazine nasal spray, enterosorbents - imodium, enterosel); 
  • essential items (thermal underwear, sanitary pads, personal hygiene products, sheets, sleeping bags, camping mats, torches with batteries). 

The material will be transferred, through the La Nuova Arca Association, to the reference parish of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic community in the capital, i.e. the church of Santa Sofia in Boccea. The destination of the donated goods is Lviv, one of the areas most affected by the war.
