L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma has ordered the postponement of the test at the Rome Fair scheduled for Tuesday 25 February to a later date
Rome, 23 February 2020 - TheUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, by virtue of the principle of maximum precaution on the Coronavirus phenomenon, in coherence with its mission of attention to the human person and in compliance with the calls for prudence promoted by the Institutions, has ordered the postponement of the admission test to the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery scheduled at the Rome Fair for Tuesday 25 February.
More than 2.800 candidates from all over Italy have registered for the test, some of whom from the northern regions subject to restrictions by the relevant institutions.
The decision taken by the University is the result of the desire to protect people's health, also in consideration of the origin of the candidates from all over Italy, and with a view not to disadvantage aspiring doctors from areas where restrictive measures are in place for displacements.
L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma has always pursued as its mission the centrality of the person and the common good and it is precisely in compliance with these principles that, despite there being no restriction measures on public or aggregative events in Lazio and despite the considerable organizational and economic inconveniences for the University, has ordered the postponement of the test to a later date.
