The contribution to cover university fees and the cost of accommodation and food

August 5, 2021 - The collaboration continues betweenUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and the Enpaia Foundation, launched with the signing of a Framework Agreement signed on 28 October 2020 to strengthen the synergy between the agri-food sector and the world of education. In this context, the Enpaia Foundation has decided to finance a scholarship to coverage of tuition fees and room and board expenses for one off-site student of the Master's Degree Course in Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management.
«The total amount will be allocated to a deserving student for the entire two-year degree course - explained the president of Enpaia, Giorgio Piazza -. We are pleased to be able to contribute with this scholarship to improve the educational activity with an innovative educational program and in line with the current scenarios and needs of a sector which, such as the food and agriculture sectors, is increasingly assuming a role of first floor".
Objective of the master's degree course in Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management UCBM is in fact to prepare supply chain managers, who need process management skills of the entire chain, bringing together the needs of globalization with the enhancement of traditional Made in Italy.

This intervention is the signal of our desire to be able to train deserving students regardless of their socio-economic background and is part of a broader project that has led theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma to allocate increasingly significant resources for scholarships for deserving students. In order to reward merit, the University has in fact launched a program of growing investments in the right to study two years ago which has led for the 2021-2022 academic year to allocate the sum of 1,3 million euros for the various contributions to support students.
