Harmony as a common and founding element of the various disciplines
The themed meeting "Harmony and beauty, between art and science", which took place in recent days at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, brought together experts and professionals from the worlds of science, medicine, music and art.
The guests, with their interventions, have guided us to the discovery of harmony, as a common and founding element of the various disciplines. A characteristic which, together with the chaos, has led artists, musicians and scientists to the creation of symphonies, paintings, formulas and very important mathematical relationships, such as for example the golden sequence of Fibonacci and the most recent works of generative art.
In fact, even the so-called "exact sciences" are opening up to ideas, such as that of "beauty", which are the typical heritage of the arts such as painting and music. The goal is to recover the unity of human knowledge which, not satisfied by partial knowledge, tends to analyze things in their entirety.
