The professor. Raffaele Calabrò elected from among the new members
4 February 2020 - The Rector ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma becomes part of the CRUI Board. Among the new members there are also: Paolo Andrei (University of Parma), Giovanni Betta (University of Cassino and Southern Lazio), Francesco Cupertino (Bari Polytechnic), Giovanni Francesco Nicoletti (University of Campani Luigi Vanvitelli) and Claudio Pettinari (University of Camerino).
The 5 members still in office complete the junta: Francesco Adornato (University of Macerata), Salvatore Cuzzocrea (University of Messina), Ferruccio Resta (Politecnico di Milano), Rosario Rizzuto (University of Padua), Maurizio Tira (University of Brescia).
“United in emerging from the emergency, ready to face the post-pandemic changes, capable of putting their skills to good use so that the resources implemented by the Recovery Plan become a real relaunch tool for the entire university system. This is the spirit of the newly elected CRUI junta – commented the President of the rectors, Ferruccio Resta, on the sidelines of the session – which is preparing right now to collaborate with the next government with a sense of responsibility and speed of execution. In this delicate situation, the university is ready to contribute constructively and effectively to the country's recovery."
The election of the new CRUI Board was held completely online, thanks to the use of the open source platform Eligere, entirely developed by the university system.
