300 attended and greeted the Pope at the end of the meeting

21 March, 2019 - There were many, including students and employees of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, to participate in the General Audience of Pope Francis in St. Peter's Square on Wednesday 20 March. On the occasion the Pope held a touching catechesis on the Our Father in which he commented on the third invocation "thy will be done" saying that "God wants the salvation of man, of men, of each of us... God, out of love, it can lead us to walk on difficult paths, to experience painful wounds and thorns, but it will never abandon us. He will always be with us, next to us, within us. For a believer this, more than a hope, is a certainty. God is with me".

These strong words were then taken up by the Holy Father in the dialogue he had with the student representative UCBM, Augusto Ferrini, who asked the Pontiff: "How can we help many of our peers who are losing their faith?". "Don't worry - the Pope replied - God is a Father who never abandons you. You must know that he remains a point of reference. Even if we go off the rails he will always be there for us".

The students had the opportunity to take some photos together with Pope Francis, who also symbolically blessed one of the blue bands UCBM and worn by boys.

Finally, the General Director of the University Hospital Paolo Sormani, together with the Deputy Director Marta Risari, at the end of the Audience, they presented to the Holy Father the project of the Emergency Acceptance Department currently under construction, thus receiving the precious blessing and signature on the project.

In the various meetings, many have invited him to visit the University and Pope Francis has expressed his desire to do so.
