On 25 and 26 April in Turin
Living the faith for the youth ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and not only was it one of the fundamental characteristics that marked the pilgrimage to the Holy Shroud of Turin 2015.
A weekend of 25 and 26 April full of moments of prayer and recollection that led 200 young people to get together, get to know each other and share what unites everyone without distinction, God. Days that allowed these young people to imagine the features of Christ and contemplate the wounds, the sufferings and the pain suffered by Jesus during the crucifixion for our salvation.
The impact with this long herringbone woven linen sheet measuring 4,41 x 1,13 meters allowed us for two minutes to live, believe and see what until recently we thought could not be possible: see the face and the body of Christ as it was at the moment of death. Saturday then concluded with a visit to the city of Turin, the Mole Antonelliana and the Museum of the Holy Shroud.
On Sunday, however, the pilgrimage turned to visiting the center of Valdocco, created by Don Bosco and the Salesians to bring together all those poor and orphaned boys on the outskirts of Turin, who had neither home nor future ahead of them except the road .
Welcoming in us the Salesian spirit and the words of Msgr. Leuzzi sul "living Jesus daily and above all in suffering, attested by the presence of the Holy Shroud" we hope (with a nice glass of bicèrin) that we will soon be able to collect all the thousand and thousand grains of faith sown in this short but intense experience.
