THEUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma hosted the Unindustria Board of Directors, an opportunity to discuss together the importance of constant collaboration between businesses and universities on the topics of research and innovation but, above all, to promote higher education for the purposes of new entrepreneurship. They attended the meeting Angelo Camilli e Maurice TarquiniPresident and General Director of UnindustriaFrances MariottiGeneral Director of ConfindustriaPaolo ArullaniHonorary President ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma e Andrea RossiChief Executive Officer and General Manager UCBM. 

"To bring university research closer to business, to encourage teaching that is closer to the industrial world and to make students aware of professional opportunities and growth prospects. With these objectives we have chosen to join Confindustria as a University – said the professor. Paolo Arullani who contributed to the birth and consolidation of this relationship, for over 20 years in the General Council of Unindustria and who, on the occasion of the University's thirtieth anniversary, leaves the baton to the CEO-DG Andrea Rossi.

As done by prof. Arullani, we will continue to grow the "Campus System" as a business for businesses, sharing the ethical value of growth and innovation with the entrepreneurial system".

Among the various initiatives in the field as a concrete sign of this synergy, the project of the Rome Technopole Foundation, the multi-technological hub that brings together the Universities of Rome and Lazio, including UCBM, strongly desired by Unindustria to fuel the research, training and innovation chain in synergy with the business world, within three thematic directions of high priority for the Region: the energy transition, the digital transition and the sectors linked to biopharma and Health.
