Designed by Biomedical University Foundation and promoted by his Advisory Board, especially from President Prof. Paolo Arullani, Stefano Anzilotti, Gregory Baracchi, Giovanni Castellaneta, Federica Marchini, Marco Sala, the event brought together doctors, entrepreneurs, finance professionals and representatives of various clinical and research centers in the Big Apple (NYU Langone, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Mount Sinai, Cornell Weill) with the aim of present the development projects of the Bio-Medico Campus and give life to new international collaborations.

With a view to continuous commitment to promoting internationalization and enhancing the interdisciplinary educational offer, the University offers three Degree Courses taught in English: "Medicine and Surgery", and the newborns "Medicine and Surgery - MedTech" is "Biomedical Engineering", in which the American public has expressed great interest.
"At the Campus we work to allow our students and researchers to take the path that leads them towards the future, reminding them to keep the person at the center of their work, well done". The words of the Full Professor of Biomedical Engineering Leandro Pecchia who, during his speech, illustrated the innovative research projects carried out by the University in the sectors related to health, environmental sustainability, engineering, robotics, capable of responding to the great challenges of our time.
The event, moderated by the journalist Mario Platero, was enriched by the intervention of the Advisor for the Fundraising Campus Bio-Medico in America Erik Dyson and from prof. Cajetan Rocco, Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York and Surgeon at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
In the presence of some former students of our University who are now in the USA, the Alumno sent his testimony UCBM Raphael Rocco, graduated in 2015 in Medicine and Surgery currently resident at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, in first place among the best hospitals in the world.
The Board Member closed the event Federica Marchini, leader of the appointment in New York together with Giovanni Castellaneta, former Italian ambassador to America.
They also participated Stefano Anzilotti, General Secretary Biomedical University Foundation, Serena Bianchini, Head of External Communication Biomedical University Foundation e Young Friolo, Head of Institutional Relations and Public Affairs of the University.
