The synergy of the University with Unindustria Lazio is growing

8 May 2021 - In the growth path of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma to respond to the current and future needs of the labor market and the cultural growth of the country system, the relationship with the productive world is of fundamental importance, in a continuous dialogue aimed at making Italy increasingly competitive at an international level. Equally valuable is the structured collaboration with organizations representing the industrial and innovation world, both at a national and territorial level to translate the excellent relations with the business world into projects and initiatives that can have a tangible impact for the benefit of the territory and of society in general.
While continuing the dialogue with Confindustria with the involvement of the Campus Bio-Medico University in the working group of B20 and for the organization of connected, scheduled for 25-26 November 2021, the relationship with Unindustria Lazio. Some associated companies of Unindustria have joined the Advisory Board promoting the degree course in Intelligent Systems Engineering and some professors of UCBM have been included in the thematic working tables of Unindustria (Energy, Green Economy, Digital Transformation, University, Research and Technology Transfer) in order to generate opportunities for very interesting research collaborations, to the benefit of the local area, student training, international competitiveness.
For Angelo Camilli, President of Unindustria, "It is necessary to carry forward all those initiatives that bring the university world into a very close relationship with the business world right from the planning phase of training projects to their implementation. We are also in a phase of great transformation with the Recovery plan. Sustainability, pharmaceuticals, digitization, both for companies and for the PA, are very important issues on which we need to invest a lot and we work very well with Campus Bio Medico, which is our associate". "Beyond the biopharmaceutical and digital world - he adds Maurice Tarquini, General Manager of Unindustria - we have a largely unexpressed potential in the whole agro-industrial chain. We need to work more and more on interdisciplinary profiles on different skill systems".
