Biography
Manuele Casale graduated in Medicine and Surgery on 19 July 2000 at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma with a grade of 110/110 and honors. He subsequently attended the first two years of the School of Specialization in Otolaryngology at the University of Parma (Director: Prof. D. Bottazzi) and in the third year he transferred to the School of Specialization in Otolaryngology of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (Director: Prof. F. Salvinelli). In 2004 he obtained the Diploma of Specialization in Otorhinolaryngology with a grade of 50/50 and honors at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. Finally, he obtained the PhD in "New Bio-Medical Technologies in Otorhinolaryngology" XXI cycle academic year 2005-2006 at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
Curriculum Vitae
He is currently responsible for the Simple Operating Unit "Integrated Therapies in Otorhinolaryngology" and since September 2020 he has been Full Professor, MED/31 - Otorhinolaryngology at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
His great interest in research has led him to coordinate Italian and international groups in the field of rhino-sinus pathology, sleep apnea syndrome, endoscopic rhino-sinus surgery and head and neck pathology. In particular, his research focuses on the creation of new medical devices for clinical practice, obtaining numerous results in technology transfer in terms of participation in the creation of new companies (spin-offs), development, use and commercialization of patents. He is the owner of three Italian patents, two European patents and one US patent. Finally, he is the founder and partner of two spin-offs of the Campus Bio-Medico University.
