Prof. Marco Santonico

Full Professor of Electronics. Since 2019 he has been Vice Dean of the Departmental Faculty of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development and One Health and President of the Master's Degree Course in Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management. He is co-responsible of the Research Unit of Electronics for Sensory Systems where he deals with the development of sensors and their electronic interfaces for medical, food and environmental applications.

Biography

Full Professor of Electronics. He is currently the Chair of the Master's Degree Program in Food Science and Technology and Food Design. He is co-head of the Electronics for Sensory Systems unit, where he focuses on the development of sensors and their electronic interfaces for medical, food, and environmental applications.

Degree in Electronic Engineering and PhD in Sensory and Learning Systems Engineering at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", he has participated in numerous national and international projects. From 2012 to 2021 he was a founding member of the company INNOSENSOR srl, born as a spin-off of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". As part of his research activity, he has activated numerous industrial collaborations.

Research lines:

Development and characterization of sensors and their electronic interfaces for biomedical, space and industrial applications. Study of electronic fluctuations for the optimization of sensors and sensory systems.
