Prof.ssa Silvia Sterzi
Full Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Since 2004 he has been Director of the School of Specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Since 2007 he has been Director of the Complex Rehabilitation Operative Unit of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation. Since 2018 he has been President of the Degree Course in Physiotherapy.
Biography
Full Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Author of over 90 publications in journals with impact factor. The main topics covered by the publication concern the various aspects of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and the most important applications of rehabilitation science to medical-surgical specialties, with particular regard to new technologies in the rehabilitation field and to the synergy and integration of treatments, especially in the neurorehabilitation and oncology.
He oversaw the translation of several chapters and in particular of the text "BRADDOM RL Physical medicine and rehabilitation". (Italian edition edited by C. Bertolini e S. Sterzi, Antonio Delfino Publisher 1998).
“Quality of life in oncological frail patients. The role of oncological rehabilitation: from care to take care”. Research project of the Ministry of Health, Oncological Research Call (Integrated Oncology Programme), funded in 2007 - in collaboration with the IRCCS San Raffaele TOSINVEST of Rome.

1st Prize for the Poster Section of the International meeting “Ischemic Wounds and Laser Therapy”, Milan 1999.
XXXV° National SIMFER Congress Award, for the best scientific work on disability secondary to pathology of the respiratory system, 2007
