Performance evaluation of Fully Automated Real Time PCR approach (IDylla®) for RAS and BRAF mutation detection in clinical practice of metastatic ColorEctal Cancer patients: an Italian multicenter STUDY

Project objectives

Main goal 

Prospective evaluation of the effectiveness of the combined use of the CE-IVD Idylla™ KRAS and NRAS/BRAF Mutation Tests, in the identification of clinically relevant mutations in patients with colon cancer undergoing treatment with anti-EGFR drugs. 

Secondary objective 

Retrospective comparison of IDYLLA-RAS-WT results with those obtained by NGS, to verify the presence and clinical significance of low allelic frequency mutations.
