Printing services and the use of specific software are available at the Multimedia Laboratory.
PRINTING
Students have 4 Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i MFPs at their disposal, 2 in the library and 2 in the multimedia lab. All Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5550i multifunction printers allow printing, scanning and copying. The University supplies the student with the necessary equipment for printing, photocopying and scanning, including paper. At the beginning of the academic year, each student receives a credit of 20 euros from the University for printing services. Subsequently, they can top up the card, using their personal badge, at the Library.
It is also possible, through the mobiprint service, to print from any multimedia device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.), by sending an e-mail with the attached file you wish to print.
USE OF SOFTWARE
Different softwares are installed on the computers of the Multimedia Laboratory. E.g.:
- Browsers: Internet Explorer and Firefox
- Office Automation: Microsoft Office, Open Office, PDF Creator, Adobe Reader e GanttProject
- Multimedia: Windows Media Player, VLC, Real Player and QuickTime
- Graphics: Irfanview
- Just for ingengineering: Devlon C++, Matlab, VMware player, Packet Tracer, Comsol, CM60S and Keil
- Archive: 7-ZIP
