Recipients and access requirements

Admission to the Master's Degree Course in Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development requires certain access requirements listed in the Competition Announcement (for example: degree class of origin, CFU acquired with exams in certain SSDs, etc.) that the candidate must document in the online application for registration in the procedure for admission to the Course.

Navarro-Valls Income-Based Scholarship from Asja Energy sbrl

By the October 15, 2026, at 01:00 pm a.m., students enrolled in the academic year 2026/2027 in the Master's Degree Course in Ingegneria Chimica per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile, can apply for 2 scholarships established by the Biomedical University Foundation, on the occasion of the International Award for Leadership and Benevolence "Joaquìn Navarro Valls", III edition, thanks to the "Scholarship Fund for theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (UCBM)", named after Joaquín Navarro-Valls, physician and President of the Advisory Board UCBM; fund aimed at contributing to the development of deserving and less well-off new talents. In this context, one of the two scholarships is financed by ASJA ENERGY SBRLJNV Award, to impact a student's personal and professional development.

The recipients of the two scholarships will each benefit from an annual contribution equal to € 6.500,00(six thousand five hundred/00) for the entire legal duration of the studies, equal to two years, for a total value equal to € 13.000,00 (thirteen thousand/00). The aforementioned annual contribution will be assigned as an exemption/reimbursement from the payment of the corresponding sum to be drawn from the amounts of the single university contribution established in the Tax and Contribution Regulations

The two "Joaquín Navarro-Valls" scholarships cannot be combined with similar benefits from other public or private institutions, without prejudice to the option of interested students.

To apply for the Scholarships, you must deliver or send to the Office for the Right to Education, University Life and Volunteering at the email address [email protected] , downtown and no later than 1.00 pm on 15 October 2026, the ISEE Right to Study 2026 certification not exceeding € 28.000,00 (twenty-eight thousand/00), as foreseen by theNotice of Reopening of Terms, which we invite you to consult, together with theSelection Notice, which also indicates the requirements for maintaining the benefit in the academic years following the first.

Merit-Based Scholarship and Path of Excellence

As part of Window III (application submission from 07/24/2026 to 01:00 pm PM on 09/24/2026), a selection process is planned - among the candidates admitted to enrollment and in possession of the requirements set out in Annex B of the Admission Procedure - of a maximum of 10 (ten) candidates who will be able to take the oral exam aimed at the admission of no. 1 students to the Excellence Path of the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development (benefits may be increased following the completion of this registration window).

The selection for admission to the Excellence Pathway involves the carrying out of a oral exam within the terms and conditions set out in Annex B. This test is intended solely for the purpose of possible admission to the Excellence Pathway and has no effect on admission to the Degree Course, which is governed entirely by the Admission Procedure (pursuant to DR 158/2026).

The Excellence Program aims to promote students based on merit. Admitted students will benefit from:

  • exemption from paying 50% of the single university fee for the entire two-year period of study, in the presence of the assignment and maintenance requirements set out in Annex B of the Admission Procedure;
  • with the support of a teacher;
  • the possibility of carrying out further training and research activities in the University laboratories, as part of the activities planned for the research doctorates already active.

The Scholarships for the Excellence Path referred to in this Procedure are financed with Funds UCBM and can be increased if necessary in the presence of financial contributions from donors who intend to sponsor the Path of Excellence.

Enrollment

The admitted candidates proceed with enrollment within 5 (five) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Italy) from the date of publication of thelist of those admitted to registrationon this web page, carrying out the actions indicated in the admission procedure and following the "enrolment instructions" published above.
