The Medical Area Specialization Schools are highly professionalizing post-graduate university courses of study, for the training of specialists in specific professional sectors.
At the end of the training course, the title of specialist in the chosen sector is awarded.
Access requirements
To access medical specialization schools you must:
- degree in Medicine and Surgery
- the qualification to practice the profession of medical surgeon
Any other requirements requested are indicated in the admission notice published annually by the MUR.
Frequency
Attendance at medical specialization courses is mandatory and full-time.
