From June 2025 theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma joins the EduRoam (Education Roaming) federation for the roaming of Wi-Fi users belonging to the universities/research institutions in Europe and over 100 countries worldwide.
Eduroam is a service through which students, teachers and technical-administrative staff visiting an institute adhering to the federation are able to use the WiFi network called EduRoam with the credentials (email and password) of your home institution and without the need for further formalities at the host institution.
WiFi usage by internal users
Access to the EduRoam network in Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma It is dedicated exclusively to users from other Universities/Research Institutions.
Indeed, for students, teachers and technical-administrative staff of UCBM the University wireless networks already specifically set up and different from EduRoam (e.g. Hot Spot) will remain in place UCBM, WiCampus Extranet, WiCampus PC User).

Use of WiFi for external users visiting a host University/Research Institution
To use the service, you must authenticate to the WiFi network called "eduroam" with your institutional credentials and after configuration as indicated below.
For connection with smartphones or tablets with Apple iOS or Android operating systems
- Download the "geteduroam" APP from the official stores;
- Search and select the university/research institution you belong to;
- Identify the membership profile (e.g. for students UCBM indicate the @alcampus domain; for employees UCBM indicate the domain @unicampus)
- Authenticate via institutional email and password
For connection via personal computers with Windows, Linux or Apple operating systems
- Access the portal: https://cat.eduroam.org;
- Press the button where it says “Click here to download your eduroam installer”;
- Select the university/research institution you belong to;
- Download the installer;
- Follow the instructions provided by the wizard.
Access to the Eduroam network is subject to compliance with the Regulations of the Italian Eduroam Federation.
