Recipients and access requirements
Those who, at the start date of the course, will be in possession of a University Diploma, or an old-school degree diploma, or a degree, or a specialist/master's degree, can enroll in the course.
It is also possible to enroll in individual modules, each of which will be ECM accredited for all healthcare professions.
Educational objectives
The Course in Clinical Bioethics: Deontology and Work Ethics well done in the healthcare professions aims to train professionals capable of translating ethical principles and deontological norms into clinical best practice on a personal and collective level.
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
- demonstrate high skills in the field of Bioethics and Ethics applied to work in the healthcare sector;
- distinguish the different approaches of Applied Ethics to the world of work, particularly those related to human health;
- be able to evaluate a healthcare act from an ethical point of view;
- actively carry out any role in an Ethics Committee.
Didactic structure
The course is structured into 8 modules for a total of 13 credits divided as follows:
- 5 CFU of teaching activities;
- 4,5 ECTS of jam sessions and analysis of clinical cases;
- 3,5 CFU personal study activities for the drafting of the end-of-course project work.

- MODULE I: Principles of General Ethics
- II MODULE: The Schools of Bioethics
- III MODULE: Ethical Evaluation Systems of a Clinical Case and Ethical Consulting
- IV MODULE: Biolegal
- V MODULE: Bioethics and the end of human life
- VI MODULE: Bioethics and the beginning of human life
- VII MODULE: Bioethics and clinical research
- MODULE VIII: Business Ethics applied to Public Health
The lessons will be held in blended mode: some lessons will be organized in live streaming to facilitate the attendance of the participants.
Furthermore, in line with the objectives of the Course, integrated forms of theoretical activities, individual learning, analysis of clinical cases and Jam Sessions are foreseen.
Method of admission
The application for admission to the Course must be submitted by 23pm on 59 April 15 using the online procedure available on the dedicated page of the Course at the internet address: www.unicampus.it/master and provides for the inclusion of:
- personal data;
- studio and professional curriculum vitae;
- dichiarasubstitutive certification of the university qualification
possessed;
- payment of the fee of Euro 60,00.
The selection will be carried out through curricular evaluation and motivational interview which will take place on 17 April 2024 according to the indications transmitted by theUCBM Academy
Attendance fee
The participation fee for the Course is equal to Euro 1.000,00 to be divided into 2 instalments.
Scholarships are available to partially cover the participation fee, dedicated to employees of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico, awarded based on the admission ranking. The amount to be paid by the successful candidate of the scholarship is €400,00.
All payments, including the one relating to the admission application, must be made to the bank current account in the name of:

Under no circumstances will the admission fee and participation fee paid be refunded.
Title awarded
Participants who complete the Course, and are in compliance with the administrative requirements, will be issued the title of Specialization in "Clinical Bioethics: Deontology and Work Ethics well done in the healthcare professions".
