The location of the three Departmental Faculties of Medicine and Surgery, Engineering, Science and Technology for Man and the Environment in the modern spaces of the university city, immersed in the Decima Malafede Park, favors continuous interactions between the various disciplinary fields and the focusing of training and research activities on sectors of crucial importance for the development of society, giving a trait of extraordinary uniqueness to the University's activities.
The course
THEUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma is a provider of the Lazio Region for the provision of the Management Training Course in the Healthcare Sector in compliance with Articles 15 and 16-quinquies of Legislative Decree 502/1992 and subsequent amendments and additions to art. 7 of Presidential Decree 484/1997, to the agreement between the Ministry of Health, the Regions and the autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano of 10/07/2003 and to the DGR n.6 of 21/01/2020 of the Lazio Region.
The face-to-face and online teaching is interactive and supplemented by testimonials from hospitals and by the analysis and discussion of case studies, role playing and analysis grids. At the end of the course there will be a presentation and discussion of a project work.
Participation in the course is a necessary requirement for carrying out the duties relating to company health management functions and management of complex structures.

Recipients
The course is reserved for the executive staff of ASL, AO, IRCCS and other entities referred to in art. 4, paragraphs 12 and 13 of Legislative Decree 502/1992, having seniority of service of at least 5 years as of 07 March 2022. Priority is given to the personnel of the structures present in the territory of the Lazio Region.
Eligible candidates are ranked according to the following priority criteria:
• Corporate Health Directors of the Lazio Region Health System not yet in possession of the management training certificate in question
• Executives of Complex Operating Units with the role of Directorate of Department/Area of the Lazio Region Health System not yet in possession of the managerial training certificate in question
• Executives of Complex Operating Units with the role of UOC Directorate of the Health System of the Lazio Region not yet in possession of the managerial training certificate in question
• Company Administrative Directors of the Health System of the Lazio Region
• Doctors, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, biologists, chemists, physicists, psychologists, managers of the health, administrative, professional, technical, technical-health professions of the Health System of the Lazio Region who, despite not having a Complex Operative Unit, have the following requirements :
a) executives with appointment as head of simple operating units or simple departmental operating units
b) executives with at least 10 years of service
• Doctors, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, biologists, chemists, physicists, psychologists, managers of the health, administrative, professional, technical, technical-health professions of the Health System of the Lazio Region with seniority of service of at least 5 years of management, as of the date of 16 April 2021
• Executives with the role of Management of Complex Operating Units not belonging to the Health System of the Lazio Region
• Medical managers, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, biologists, chemists, physicists, psychologists, managers of the health professions, administrative, professional, technical, technical-health professionals not belonging to the Health System of the Lazio Region
Blended formula
Designed to meet the needs of those professionals who have less and less time available, but do not want to give up the highest teaching standards in the sector. This course is focused on your attendance needs, thanks to the weekend formula. In fact, the course will be delivered in blended mode: the first part (in March) will be carried out face-to-face, guaranteeing safety distances, while from 1 April you will be able to take advantage of online teaching (recorded lessons that you can access at any time ), to return to the classroom again on May 13 and conclude the course in September 2022.

Online training to ensure maximum flexibility of participation
The teaching methodology is flexible and interactive. From 25 March, lessons will be held in the classroom, in compliance with safety distances. Starting from 1 April 2022, the lessons will be delivered online, to return to the classroom again on 13 May 2022 and conclude the course in September 2022.

Recognition of previous training periods
According to the judgment of a specific evaluation Commission and, with the binding opinion of the Lazio Region, previous training periods already carried out by the candidate in the context of training courses concerning thematic areas and contents similar to those covered by this Course may be recognized. The aforementioned courses must have been carried out as part of university post-graduate training courses. In the case of total recognition, the applicant will still be required to present and discuss the final project work, in order to obtain the management training certificate recognized by the Lazio Region. The recognition of previous training activities allows the achievement of the management training certificate recognized by the Lazio Region, not the postgraduate qualification.
Best Practice on managerial and leadership aspects in emergency management
In the light of the hard test that the National Health Service has had to endure also from a managerial point of view, the course includes a module entirely dedicated to the management of national health emergencies. The module will focus on the topic of the rapid conversion of clinical-care models, on post-COVID management and process aspects and on the management of communication in health emergencies.

| At the end of the teaching activity, the participants will have to take an evaluation test which consists in the presentation and discussion of a final project work in front of a special Commission made up of: the Scientific Director, the Didactic Coordinator, at least one teacher of the course, an official of the Lazio Region. Participants who pass the assessment test, who are in compliance with the limits of absences set out in the notice and with administrative obligations, will be issued: • The management training certificate from the Lazio Region, which is valid for seven years from the date of issue. If several sessions of the same course are held, the certificate will be issued simultaneously to all candidates at the end of the last session. • The qualification in Healthcare Management, by theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, with the recognition of 16 CFU. The credits may be recognized for any subsequent management training courses organized by the University itself. |
