Purpose

The University Specialization Course in "Project Management" is part of the Innovation & Sustainability (I&S) Project, promoted byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in partnership with Marzotto Venture Accelerator.

Educational objectives

The University Specialization Course in Project Management is organized in collaboration with the PROJECT MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE - CENTRAL ITALY CHAPTER and will also be provided by qualified trainers of the PMI Central Italy Chapter, coming from various business sectors, who will be able to introduce the principles of the Project Management according to the PMBOK® 6th Edition standard (innovative projects, change management, stakeholders, resources, planning, risk management, quality, etc.), sharing direct professional experiences and highlighting the benefits deriving from the use of best practices for achieving of the project objectives.

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Describe the discipline of project management as defined in the PMBOK® Guide Sixth Edition.
  • Tackle the exam by interpreting the questions in the best possible way, managing time and concentration to pass it.
  • Define the tasks and responsibilities of the project manager.

The course is aimed at:

  • Junior Project Managers who do not yet have the experience necessary to access the PMP certification but want to certify their knowledge of the Project Management discipline.
  • Recent graduates who intend to specialize in Project Management and aim to gain experience in project teams.
  • Those who, while not covering the role of project manager, work in support of company project management (assistants to project managers, Project Management Office employees, etc...).

To participate in the course, the possession of a degree (at least three years) is required.

Participation in the course is incompatible with enrollment in other university study courses, namely: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Specialization course, Research Doctorate, active training internship (TFA) and other university Master's.

The course is structured in 3 modules.

Teaching methodology

The Course will be delivered in Phygital mode which combines the online and offline worlds trying to take the best aspects of each to create a more complete and satisfying customer experience.

Title issued and certification

The students who complete the course with the discussion of the final Project Work and who comply with the administrative obligations will be awarded the title of specialization in "Project Management" to which 9 credits are attributed.

Those who do not discuss the final Project Work will be issued a certificate of participation in the "Project Management" course.

In addition, a certificate of participation will be issued with 23 Contact Hours, necessary for access to the CAPM® certification test, a test that each participant can then decide to take independently.

Duration, start date and location

The course will last 2 months. The start date is October 21, 2022.

Registration fee

The participation fee for the course is €2.800,00.

The subsidized participation fee dedicated to PA employees is €1.960,00.
