Recipients and access requirements
The course is aimed at nurses in possession of a five-year high school diploma and a University Diploma or other qualification recognized as equivalent (Professional Nurse Diploma, University Diploma in Nursing Sciences, University Diploma for Nursing, Degree Diploma in Nursing according to the Law of 8 January 2002, #1).
Graduating students may also be admitted as long as they fulfill the access requirement within 90 days following the start of the Master's.
Educational objectives
The objective of the Master is the specialized training of personnel to be assigned to the profession of operating room instrumentalist for general and specialist surgery through the acquisition of specific skills for the planning and care management of the peri-operative paths of interventions with surgeries with a high care impact , of complex care problems, of endoscopic and instrumentalist activities in the various surgical/technological contexts.
At the end of the Master, participants will be able to:
- Guarantee high levels of quality and safety in the assistance of the surgical patient, during the peri-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phase.
- Ensure high levels of quality and safety in surgical instrumentation in various specialist areas.
- Guarantee high levels of quality and safety in the maintenance and management of medical devices in use in the operating block.

Participation in the individual training courses carried out within modules I, II and VIII is possible.
La BLENDED FORMULA e PART TIME makes the Master compatible and contextual with professional commitments and responsibilities. The teaching structure will be divided into 70% face-to-face lessons and 30% live streaming lessons.
Internship
The Master includes an internship period at the Operating Block of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation.
The internship will start from module V, after the participant has acquired basic knowledge of flows, processes and pre-intra-post-operative assistance. The internship will include 150 hours of practical training.
Attendance fee
The Master requires a participation fee of € 2.600,00 with the possibility of payment in installments.
Discounted rates are reserved for undergraduates and graduates of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, UCBM Academy Ambassador, staff of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation and employees of Nuova Sair.

Method of admission
The application for admission to the Master must be submitted by 13th November 2022 using the online procedure accessible by clicking here which involves entering:

The motivational interviews will take place atUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma on November 17, 2022. Having read the admission form, enrollment in the Master must be carried out by November 25, 2022.
Title awarded
Participants who complete the entire course will be awarded the title of I Level University Master in Nursing assistance and instrumentation in the operating room. The recognition of training credits is linked to both regular attendance (compulsory for a total of hours of no less than 80% of the lessons and 100% of the traineeship activities), and to passing the ongoing and final tests.
Participants in individual training courses organized as part of the Master will be issued the specific certificate of participation with the recognition of the relative CFU and CME credits.
