Educational objectives
The Master's for operating room nurses: innovation in surgery and new robotic applications is a high level training course dedicated to those who want to dedicate themselves to the profession of operating room for general and specialist surgery with robotic applications. During the course, specific skills will be acquired for the planning and management of patients undergoing open, laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgeries.
Recipients and access requirements
The course is aimed at nurses in possession of a five-year high school diploma and a University Diploma or other qualification recognized as equivalent (Professional Nurse Diploma, University Diploma in Nursing Sciences, University Diploma for Nursing, Degree Diploma in Nursing according to the Law of 8 January 2002, #1).
Graduating students may also be admitted as long as they fulfill the access requirement within 90 days following the start of the Master's.

La BLENDED FORMULA e PART TIME makes the Master compatible and contextual with professional commitments and responsibilities. Internship
The Master includes an internship period in the operating blocks of the Campus Bio-Medico University Polyclinic Foundation, accredited by JCI.
The internship will include 400 hours of practical training offering the opportunity to acquire technical skills in:
- circulating operating room nursing;
- nursing instrumentalist;
- recovery room (anaesthesia and resuscitation).
Attendance fee
The Master requires a participation fee of € 2.600,00 with the possibility of payment in installments.
Discounted rates are reserved for undergraduates and graduates of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, UCBM Academy Ambassador, staff of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation and employees of Nuova Sair.

Method of admission
The application for admission to the Master must be submitted by11 February 2024 using the online procedure which involves entering:
- personal data
- resume
- dichiarasubstitutive certification
- data regarding the transfer of the admission fee (€60)
The motivational interviews will take place on the day of 13 February 2024. Having read the admission form, enrollment in the Master must be carried out by 15 February 2024.
Title awarded
Participants who complete the Master and comply with the administrative requirements will be awarded the title of First Level University Master in "Operating Room Instrument Nurses". The recognition of the training credit is linked both to regular attendance (mandatory for a number of hours not less than 80% of the lessons in person and live streaming and 100% of the internship activities), and to passing the ongoing and final tests.
