The course

The course is established byUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in compliance with Legislative Decree 171/2016, art. 1, paragraph 4, letter. c) - Agreement between the State, the Regions and the autonomous Provinces – Rep. n. 79 of 16 May 2019 and the resolution of the Lazio Region - Health and Social and Health Integration Directorate - Human Resources Area n. G00954 dated 01/02/2022.

In accordance with the provisions of art. 1, paragraph 4, letter c) of Legislative Decree no. 171/2016, The Course is preparatory to inclusion in the national list of subjects suitable for the appointment of general director of local health companies, hospital companies and other bodies of the National Health Service.

The course assumes the characteristics of a training - intervention capable of contextualizing and transferring knowledge and learning in the field.

The course is organized in the thematic areas established by the State-Regions Agreement of 19/05/2019 and by the indications of the Health and Social and Healthcare Integration Directorate of the Lazio Region.

Recipients and access requirements

The course is aimed primarily at Health Directors and Administrative Directors in office who do not yet possess the management training certificate for General Manager of Health Trusts and other NHS Bodies, pursuant to the State-Regions Agreement of 19/05/ 2019.

Next and in order of precedence, the course is also open to the following professionals:

  • a. Managers present in the registers of those eligible for the appointment of Health Director and Administrative Director of NHS Companies and Bodies who do not yet possess the managerial training certificate for General Director of Healthcare Companies and other NHS Bodies, referred to in the State-Regions Agreement dated 19/05/2019.
  • b. Managers of companies and NHS bodies.
  • c. to the General Directors, Health Directors and Administrative Directors in office of the private healthcare companies authorized/accredited by the Healthcare System of the Lazio Region with a number of beds of no less than two hundred and fifty, or those that employ a number of employees belonging to the professional categories in healthcare activities of the healthcare role of not less than three hundred, not yet in possession of the managerial training certificate for General Director of Healthcare Companies and other NHS Bodies, pursuant to the State-Regions Agreement of 19/05/2019.
  • d. Public managers in non-health sectors.
  • e. Private healthcare sector managers.

Teaching methodology

The course will last 9 months and is organized in blended mode with in-person lessons that will take place at the headquarters of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and lessons delivered in FAD mode.

Face-to-face lessons will normally take place every 2 weeks mainly on the following days and times:

  • Friday: 9:00 am to 06:00 pm;
  • Saturday: from 9:00 am to 01:00 pm.

Attendance at the course is mandatory (at least 80% of the lessons).i).

  1. Organization and management of health services and organizational processes
  2. Service quality indicators - risk management - public health
  3. Elements of project management and development of the pw
  4. Human resources management
  5. Funding criteria, elements of budget and control, management of economic and financial resources
  6. The new health challenges in the light of the PNRR
  7. Communication and humanization of care
  8. Healthcare in the EU - Community Funds
  9. Clinical governance and economic-financial skills

Method of admission

The application for admission must be submitted no later than 23pm on 59/28/04 using the online procedure and requires the inclusion of:

  1. personal data and data relating to securities;
  2. the payment of an admission fee of € 50,00 by bank transfer to the University bank current account in the name of:

3. the presentation of your Curriculum Vitae duly dated, signed, complete with the authorization pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and which highlights the elements useful for verifying the requirements for participation in the tender;

4. scan of the identity document.

Enrollment and participation fee

The enrollment fee for the course is €3.200,00 to be paid in two instalments:

• First instalment: upon registration (by 05/05/2025) equal to €1.600,00;

• 30nd installment: by 09/2025/1.600,00 equal to €.

Payment of the st installment must be made only following confirmation of admission by the UCBM Academy

Title awarded

Passing the training course allows the acquisition of the certificate certifying managerial training for access to the national list for general managers pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 171/2016.

Participation and the achievement of the relative certificate is also considered as fulfillment of the training obligations pursuant to articles 15 and 16-quinquies of Legislative Decree 502/92 as amended, and Presidential Decree 484/1997, envisaged for managers of complex structures.

Participants who pass the evaluation test, who are in compliance with the limits of absences (not exceeding 20% ​​of the total number of hours foreseen) and with the administrative obligations, will also be issued the qualification of improvement by theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, with the recognition of 25 University Training Credits.
