Recipients and access requirements

Those who, at the start date of the course, will be in possession of the University Diploma pursuant to Law no. can enroll in the Course. 341/1990, or an old system degree diploma, or degree, or specialist/master's degree (pursuant to Ministerial Decree no. 509/1999 and Ministerial Decree no. 270/2004 respectively).

Enrollment priority will be given to graduates in Biotechnology, Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies, Pharmacy, Nursing Sciences.

Foreign citizens must be in possession of a qualification recognized as suitable according to current legislation.

The candidate who, despite having obtained the eligibility for admission to the course, does not possess at least one of the qualifications listed above, will be able to participate as an auditor.

Educational objectives

The importance in pharmaceuticals, both in traditional preparations and in those relating to chemotherapy and innovative biological drugs, is increasingly an activity that requires advanced preparation and skills.

In healthcare facilities the Pharmacy, and the galenic preparations that it guarantees, are under the responsibility of the Pharmacist who delegates, under his supervision, for the practical aspects of preparation, said preparations to technical and nursing figures after training entrusted, however, to practice on the field.

This training is codified by guidelines of the Ministry of Health and SIFO - Italian Society of Hospital Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Services of Healthcare Companies.

Based on these premises, the need to structure a training course that takes into consideration the technical, regulatory, safety, risk management and professional responsibility aspects becomes increasingly important.

Didactic structure

The course lasts four months for a total of 12 credits divided as follows:

  • 8 CFU of classroom teaching and live streaming;
  • 1 CFU of laboratory activities;
  • 3 credits of project work.

The lessons will be held in blended mode. Attendance in person is required on the opening day of the Course and in the laboratory activities. During the other days of the Course, the participant will be able to choose whether to attend in person or follow the lessons remotely via live streaming.

Method of admission

The application for admission to the Course must be submitted by 23pm on 28 March, 2024 using the online procedure available on the web page dedicated to the Course at the internet address: www.unicampus.it/master and requires the inclusion of the following candidate information:

  • personal data;
  • studio and professional curriculum vitae;
  • dichiarasubstitutive certification of the university qualification held;
  • payment of the fee of Euro 50,00.

The academic and professional curriculum vitae must be presented indicating, in addition to the personal data:

  • training experiences with certified evaluation (indicating the duration expressed in days/hours);
  • professional experience (indicating the period of service, expressed in months/years);
  • scientific and teaching activity: texts and articles, responsibility and/or collaboration in research projects, teaching, etc.

Said curriculum must also include the date, place and signature of the authorchiarant. The selection of candidates is carried out through curricular evaluation carried out by a Judging Committee made up of the Scientific Director and two members of the Scientific Committee.

Attendance fee

The participation fee for the Course for participants is equal to Euro 1.000,00.

The participation fee for the course for listeners is equal to Euro 600,00.

There is a reduced participation fee for employees of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico worth Euro 600,00 (instead of Euro 1.000,00).

All payments, including the one relating to the admission application, must be made to the bank current account in the name of:

Under no circumstances will the admission fee and participation fee paid be refunded.

Title awarded

Participants who complete the Course and comply with the administrative requirements will be awarded the title of Specialization Course in "Health Professional for the Antiblastic Drugs Unit" with the award of 12 CFU. The recognition of CFU is linked both to regular attendance and to passing the final test which consists of the dissertation of the project work.

Those who attend the course as auditors will not obtain the qualification and will be issued a certificate of attendance.
