Educational objectives
The Master aims to provide skills to deal with cases of clinical bioethics and carry out ethical consultancy activities in ethical services or committees for biomedical practice. The aim is to provide theoretical-practical support tools for those involved in decision-making processes in the health sector, in the face of doubts or moral conflicts that emerge in clinical practice and in related organizational aspects.

The Catholic University of the Sacred Heart on the initiative of the Institute of Bioethics and Medical Humanities (IBioMedH) of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery “A. Gemini”, and theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, on the initiative of the Institute of Philosophy of Scientific and Technological Action (FAST) in collaboration with:
- the Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences (DBSV), Research Center in Clinical Ethics of the University of Insubria;
- the Department of Advanced Biomedical Sciences of the University of Naples "Federico II";
- the Lanza Foundation;
- the Bioethics Service of the San Giovanni Calibita Fatebenefratelli – Tiber Island;
- the Interdisciplinary Group of Clinical Bioethics and Ethical Consulting (GIBCE).
Certificate
Those who have completed the planned training course and have passed the relative assessment tests will be awarded the title of II level University Master's Degree in Clinical Bioethics and ethical consultancy in the health sector.
