The specialization course in "Pnl and Resilience for the healthcare worker" is promoted by the Nursing Department and the Clinical Department of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital. The course aims to help health professionals of all levels to develop, through NLP methods, a resilience capacity to deal effectively and self-protectively with the difficulties and negative events encountered in life and in the workplace . In this context, in particular, NLP and its applications in the organizational field will allow health professionals to develop skills, resources and behaviors aimed at a positive predisposition to organizational change and the management of complexity related above all to the emergency/urgency area.

Recipients and access requirements

The course is reserved for all healthcare professionals in possession of a first level degree or equivalent qualification.

The course is limited to a maximum of 35 participants.

Educational objectives and output profile

At the end of the course the participants will be able to:

  • analyze the concept of resilience according to a multidisciplinary and multi-professional approach
  • develop cognitive and self-regulatory skills to manage problems and critical issues in personal and professional life
  • use NLP to develop resilience skills to be applied in complex situations, especially in the health sector in emergency/urgency situations
  • measure and manage the 7 aspects of resilience (personal and corporate)
  • learn Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques and strategies useful for developing soft skills and unconscious communication
  • transmitting resilience as a reference model to patients/users
  • apply personal resilience to leadership in the company
  • develop an empathic atmosphere with the interlocutors, tracing and verbal, non-verbal and para-verbal guidance
  • manage verbal communication, sensory predicates and Metamodel
  • manage and understand non-verbal communication, Lateral eye movements, microsignals, Facial Action Coding System (FACS)
  • identify and address the 7 inabilities, 6 archetypes and 5 laws of the Fifth Discipline in your business unit/company.

Didactic structure and thematic areas

The course is structured in 8 modules plus a final project work. The thematic modules of the course are distributed over 19 training days: 

  • November 17-18, 2017 - Resilience and change
  • 20-21 January 2018 - NLP and Communication
  • 9-10-11 February 2018 - NLP and Emotionality
  • March 17-18, 2018 - NLP and Precision Linguistics
  • 14-15 April 2018 - NLP and Body Communication
  • 5-6 May 2018 - Decision Strategies
  • 25-26 May and 8-9 June 2018 - Healthcare Management
  • 9 6-7 July 2018 - Team Building
  • September 10, 2018 - Discussion of the Project Works

The lessons will take place on a monthly basis mainly on the days of:

  • Friday 09:00 am - 06:00 pm
  • Saturday 09:00 am - 06:00 pm
  • Sunday 09:00 am - 06:00 pm

Title awarded

At the end of the course, students who have attended at least 80% of the lessons will be awarded the title of "Perfection Course in NLP and Resilience for health workers", with the recognition of 24 credits.
