The Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Andrea Rossi, he was appointed expert of the Confindustria Education Technical Group for the next two years. Led by Richard DiStefano, Vice President and President of Young Entrepreneurs with responsibility for Education & Open Innovation, the Group plays a key role inimplementation of Confindustria policies, alongside the Presidency and coordinating strategies for training the skills required by the job market.

During the Group's inauguration meeting, held at the Confindustria headquarters in Rome, the priorities to be addressed in the coming months were discussed. Among the central themes, the mismatch between skills and needs of the world of work, which in 2024 is around 48%, that is, half of companies cannot find the people they need. The Group has also analyzed solutions to strengthen theinternationalization , third university mission, with the aim of promoting greater synergies between universities and companies to facilitate technology transfer and entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, the key role of the communication towards the new generations: dedicated events and new formats will aim to make the world of Confindustria more accessible and attractive for young people. The meeting has therefore laid the foundations for a coordinated action that aims to build a more prepared and competitive human capital at national and European level.
