Signed an agreement in favor of teaching and research

8 February 2016 - An alliance betweenUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and achievement CONI, the Italian National Olympic Committee, also in view of the Olympics which will take place in Rio de Janeiro from 5 to 21 August next. The four-year agreement was signed on 8 February which initiates close collaboration between the two institutions in the welfare, teaching and scientific fields.

In particular, the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital, with its over thirty Operational and specialist units, will make its professionals available to the athletes involved in the next Olympic Games and to CONI sportsmen and women. The same doctors will then be employed in the clinics of the Institute of Sports Medicine and Science of the Olympic Committee. But that's not all: the agreement stipulated between the two institutions also provides for the development of research programs and the possibility for CONI to finance scholarships for students of theUCBM. Lastly, the Olympic Committee will be able to participate in the University-Enterprise Committees of the University, as a bridge between production and training activities.
