3 January 2022 - The message from the Rector and the General Director ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma
Dear students,
With this communication, we wish you all the best for this new year that has just begun and also inform you of the actions that the University has decided to implement in order to deal with the pandemic situation and the increase in infections.
Given that we remain convinced that the strengths of our University's educational model are strongly linked, in addition to quality teaching, to a close teacher-student relationship, to closeness, dialogue and comparison that allow young students to mature and 'learning of contents and values related to the subjects being studied,
as the Academic Senate we have decided to proceed as follows:
- la library will be open on the same days and times at the end of the year therefore:
to. Monday-Friday in the time slot 9:00 am-11:00 pm
b. Saturday: in the time slot 09:00 am-09:00 am pm
c. Sunday morning: from 9:00 am to 02:00 pm - The company restaurant will be open to students with the rules already in place;
- Activities in laboratories, internships and practical teaching activities they remain in presence except for Covid-19 reasons;
- The graduation sessions they remain in presence except for Covid-19 reasons;
- Exams they remain in presence except for Covid-19 reasons;
- The lessons, on the other hand, from 10 January and until the end of the first semester will all be held remotely
It is reiterated that to enter the University it is necessary to wear personal protective masks in addition to what is already provided for the possession of the Green Pass or suitable certification. We recommend maximum respect for these rules.
In particular, the decision referred to in point 6. derives from the impressive growth of infections at both national and local level, from the expectation of a further peak immediately after the holidays and from the need to guarantee maximum safety of the environments and the health of you students and the entire academic community.
This decision was also shared with the Student Representative.
With the desire to soon be able to celebrate the end of the pandemic and the return to normal in person, we send you and your families our best regards and best wishes for 2022!
