“The agreement between UCBM and Enpaia is an important step forward to increase the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the university world and the world of agri-food companies – underlined the Rector Prof. Raffaele Calabrò – We want to give our students the opportunity to get to know the production realities of the Italian agri-food sector up close and we believe that only direct contact with companies can give added value to their training experience. On the other hand, it is essential that the productive world can find in university research a point of reference on issues such as environmental sustainability, the circular bioeconomy or the reduction of waste to innovate production and increase the quality of a unique heritage such as Italian agri-food".

The agreement is part of a broader partnership between the two entities, which already led, last July, to the signing of an agreement for health care with the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital for the benefit of the Enpaia Foundation .
