Individual courses for learning the English language
October 28, 2020 - Boosting the internationalization of the University with a specific investment in the English language: this is the objective of the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA), an entirely dedicated space in via Álvaro del Portillo 28-30, near the Prabb and Trapezio buildings.
Available to all students enrolled inUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, the CLA offers linguistic support for the entire duration of the training course. In fact, each student is assigned, at the beginning of the academic year, individual learning objectives based on a placement test that certifies the initial level of knowledge of the English language. Curricular courses are then organized and, free of charge, also extracurricular courses of linguistic enhancement, linguistic tutoring activities and recreational activities in English, in order to allow each student to live an international experience even on site. All students have access to their own training and linguistic growth path, regardless of their initial level. Those who have a high level of knowledge of the English language also have the opportunity to carry out linguistic tutoring activities that can be certified at a professional level by the Trinity School. In fact, the institute collaborates with Ucbm also for the organization of preparation courses for exams for the release of linguistic certifications. Finally, not only English: the Center is also the place where Italian language courses are held for foreign students.
