Back to June 2019 Summer lab: again this year theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma offers selected students throughout Italy a highly educational experience alongside researchers.
They will be chosen by a commission of professors from the Departmental Faculty of Engineering i 24 young people of the fourth year of upper secondary schools who will participate in the Summer Lab 2019, in Rome from 10 14 to June.
They can access the gang students with a school average of no less than 7/10 in the third year and in the first quarter/quarter of the fourth year who will be selected both on the basis of academic merit and on the project idea in the engineering field to be presented within the application form.
During the week in UCBM in the morning the participants will be able to experience a few hours of university training by participating in seminars held by researchers and teachers, while in the afternoon they will be directly involved in laboratory activities, supported by a personal tutor.
Eight Research Units with which they will be able to get in touch also on the basis of the project idea proposed at the time of application: Robotics, Automatics, Computer Science, Neuroengineering, Electronics, Chemistry and Modeling and Biomedical Measurements and Instrumentation.
For the evening, on the other hand, various opportunities are planned to explore the capital and experience the Roman summer together with your peers.
The selection to participate is open until April 30 2019.
At the end of the Summer Lab a certificate of attendance assessable by the schools of origin for the recognition of training credits.
In addition, students admitted to the Summer Lab will be able to participate for free on 14 June 2019 in the admission test in the first year of the Degree Course in Industrial Engineering (academic year 2020/2021).
Costs and scholarships
The participation fee in residential formula (including food, accommodation, evening activities and transfers during the stay in Rome) is equal to € 800,00 for the environment, and the non-residential formula (including food, evening activities and transfers during the stay in Rome) is equal to € 400,00.
The first 4 candidates in the merit ranking are entitled to a scholarship to cover the tuition fee.
