L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma confirms its commitment to promoting scientific culture this year by participating in the National STEM Week, Scheduled February 4th to 11th, 2025, initiative established by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) to bring young people closer to scientific, technological, engineering and mathematical disciplines.

The MUR, in collaboration with university and academic institutions, promotes activities aimed at developing technical and engineering knowledge and skills among young people. This commitment is strengthened by innovative training projects funded by the Department for Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with the aim of supporting and guiding male and female students in choosing their study path.

As part of this event of national importance, UCBM decided to include the student transition reports of the PhD Course in "Sustainable Development: Environment, Food and Health". The presentation of the research projects offered an important opportunity for scientific and interdisciplinary discussion, with particular attention to the contribution of PhD students and the role of women in science.

An initiative that aims to spread scientific knowledge, stimulate debate and promote equal opportunities in the research sector. In particular, it is intended to highlight the contribution of the PhD students, encouraging dialogue on the role of women in science and technology. The event represents an important opportunity to strengthen STEM culture within theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, encouraging the active involvement of the academic community in the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
