Made up ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, will work in close synergy with the University
December 31, 2021 - The Board of Directors ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, which met on Wednesday 15 December 2021, proceeded with the appointment of the Board of Directors of “Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation”. The Polyclinic Foundation UCBM, consisting of Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and its promoting bodies, the Campus Bio-Medico Association and Campus Bio-Medico Spa, takes over the management of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital from 1 January 2022.
Members of the Board of Directors of the Policlinico Foundation UCBM will be Eng. Carlo Tosti (President), Eng. Paolo Sormani (CEO and General Manager), the lawyer. Fabio Angelini, Dr. Marco Ferlazzo, Dr Chiara Fiorani, Dr. Alessandro Pernigo, Dr. Stefano Piccaluga,. The Board of Directors of the Foundation will remain in office for 3 years.
La Polyclinic Foundation UCBM will continue the development of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital while maintaining its particular vocation in the areas of personal care, scientific research and innovation in the biomedical and healthcare fields, both clinical and translational. It will continue to act in close synergy with theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, in support of which it has been working since its inception in 1994, with the same unity of purpose and in respect of the values that have always inspired its action, according to the inspiration of Blessed Álvaro del Portillo.
During the same meeting, the BoD of UCBM approved the new Statute of the University published in the Official Journal of the Italian Republic on 24 December 2021. The promoting bodies of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma they have designated the 6 members of the new Board of Directors of the University (which will take office on January 10, 2022 and will remain in office for the next 3 years) in the figures of Eng. Carlo Tosti (President), by Dr. Andrea Rossi (General Manager), by Dr. Alessandro Pernigo (Vice-President), of Dr Chiara Fiorani, by Dr Sara Galluzzo and Prof Cristina Masella. They join Prof. Raffaele Calabrò, Rector of the University, as such, member by right of the Board of Directors.
