10 January 2022 - He took office this morning the University Council of the University chaired by Eng. Carlo Tosti. Thus began the full operation of the new structure of the University which, hand in hand with the Policlinico Foundation on all common areas in teaching, research and assistance, will continue to "promote the integral education of students to train not only good professionals , but people who create value in society, knowing how to base their work on the ethical and Christian values that are the basis of our culture", he said Tosti.
With a careful eye on the projects that the Government will offer to the university world through the PNRR and with the desire to provide answers to the great challenges of our time, the University has new growth prospects ahead of it with the creation of new degree courses and training activities of the Ucbm Academy, the expansion of study spaces and university life, the development of research in synergy with the Policlinico Foundation and the business world, the commitment to the third mission.
An intense three-year period, which also awaits the Chief Executive Officer and Director General of the University, Andrea Rossi, appointed precisely in today's meeting by the new Board of Directors and by the two promoting bodies, the Campus Bio-Medico Association and Campus Bio-Medico SpA, as envisaged by the new Statute. "I will continue to put my passion and professionalism at the service of the institution to encourage the development of a university which in its almost thirty years of life has been able to demonstrate great dynamism and a marked ability to seize opportunities for progress - commented Rossi - Innovation, internationalization, multidisciplinarity, the push towards scientific research and the third mission are our objectives, always putting the commitment to an integral education of students and the centrality of the person first".
The Board of Directors also appointed the Executive Vice President, Dr. Alessandro Pernigo, and the Supervisory Body.
