Curriculum Vitae
From 1994 to 2007 he was the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Technip Italy, one of the main private Italian Engineering and Construction Companies, and from 2007 to 2015 of Permasteelisa Group, a world-leading organization in the sector of design, production and installation of architectural envelopes, curtain walls and systems for large buildings and Interior systems. From 2003 to 2008 he was President of OICE, the National Association of Engineering and Architecture Companies, a member of Confindustria. He teaches “Economics and Business Management” at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development at Campus Bio-Medico. Graduated in Chemical Engineering, he began his career in 1974 at Technipetrol (TPL) SpA, covering various roles: from Process Engineer to Project Manager, until being appointed Deputy General Manager and, in 1994, CEO (Chief Executives Officer) of the company.
He was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Member of the Executive Committee of Webuild SpA and is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salini Costruttori SpA. He was a Member of the Board of Directors of SAIPEM SpA in the three-year period 2011-2013 and a member of the Supervisory Board of Gardner GmbH from 2007 to 2014.

From 1994 to 2007 he was the Chief Executive Officer of Technip Italy Spa, among the leading Italian Engineering and Construction Contractors; from 2007 to 2015, Chief Executive Officer of Permasteelisa Group, a worldwide leading contractor in the engineering, project management, manufacturing and installation of architectural envelopes, plants and facilities for large buildings and interior systems. From 2003 to 2008 he has been Chairman of OICE, an Association, belonging to Confindustria (the Confederation of Italian Industry), that represents Italian engineering, architectural and technical economic consulting organizations. He holds the role of teacher of “Economics and Business Management” for the degree in Chemical Engineering for the Sustainable Development at Università Campus Bio-Medico. He holds a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering and started his career at Technipetrol (TPL) SpA in 1974, where he held various positions: from Process Engineer to Project Manager, until he was appointed, Deputy General Manager and, in 1994, CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the Company, which today is Technip Italy SpA
He has been Board Vice-Chairman in Webuild SpA and is currently Chairman of the Board of Salini Costruttori SpA Former Board Director in SAIPEM SpA (2011 - 2013), and Member of the Supervisory Board of Gartner Gmbh between 2007 and 2014.
