Dal 2002 al 2014 professore a contratto presso l' Università di Verona, dal 2006 al 2011 professore a contratto presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Università di Napoli .
Svolge attività di ricerca nell'ambito delle apparecchiature di diagnostica per immagini con particolare focus sull'imaging ibrido PET-MR.
Dal settembre 2006 al dicembre 2007 partecipa al progetto di ricerca europeo IntraMEDnet - A Mediterranean Research and Higher Education Intranet in Medical and Biological Sciences .
Nel 2019 - visiting presso University of Warwick (UK) e presso University of Reykjavik (Islanda)

He has conducted research in the field of diagnostic imaging equipment with particular focus on imaging hybrid PET - MR.
From September 2006 to December 2007 he attended the European research project IntraMEDnet - A Mediterranean Research and Higher Education Intranet in Medical and Biological Sciences.
