GLYcemic Variability assessed by continuous glucose monitoring and Antiplatelet Responsiveness in patients undergoing coronary stenting (GLYVAR study)
Project objectivesA pilot, observational, and prospective study aimed at verifying the prognostic role of glycemic variability, measured by continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) Ipro, on platelet reactivity, assessed using the bedside VerifyNow System technique, in patients undergoing coronary angioplasty and stent implantation, in order to identify those patients who are low responders to antiplatelet therapy and therefore at higher risk of ischemic/thrombotic events at post-procedural follow-up. |
