Project objectivesTo study the expression of microRNAs, small noncoding RNA sequences that regulate cellular gene expression, in patients with ischemic heart disease undergoing angioplasty with stent placement. To correlate pre-procedural levels of these molecules with platelet reactivity indices assessed using the VerifyNow System. |
